Raser | Gather is the story of a family. My family. It is inspired by my grandparents - Bob and Donna King - and their trials, joys, faith, and ultimately the legacy passed down through their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They left us a legacy of music, faith and family that we still draw on today, years after their passing.
Raser | Gather is also the culmination of years of training, study and work that serves as the final Capstone to my studies in the Digital Arts graduate program at Goucher College near Baltimore, MD.
What began with a few acoustic guitar songs inspired by my extended family, this project grew into a 6 month writing, recording and designing process that is now manifest in compact discs, digital distribution on over 25 online e-commerce and music venues (iTunes, Spotify, Google Music Store, Amazon MP3, etc.), and this story driven, parallex-rich website.
